Sailing Flotilla
What is a flotilla?
The term Flotilla means sailing in a group of 4-6 boats, under the leadership of one boat (mother ship).
By joint sailing we mean anchoring and docking with the help of other crews, joint stops on the beaches and joint dinners.
Our Flotilla is relaxed with a flexible itinerary with no pressure to join in on the mutual dining and socializing. 4Me Sailing Flotilla is traditionally held in June and September, with the aim of training new Skippers to manage boats independently with their crews, as well as to learn certain routes and itineraries.
You can join our Flotilla as a skipper with crew, skipper without crew or as a crew member on one of our boats.
If you want to be part of our Flotilla as a crew member on the mother ship, we can offer you a cabin with a double bed and a separate toilet and bathroom for 1000€. Additional costs such as fuel, transit log, marinas, water, electricity and food are shared equally by everyone on board.
Choice of boats
Our experience in choosing boats will be of great benefit to you, we always choose the best for you.
The maximum number of boats in the Flotilla is six, so we can provide a docking place practically everywhere.
Mother ship
On the mother ship will be your leading crew consisting of experienced skippers and sailors who are available at all times for support in sailing, anchoring, docking and solving minor problems on the boat. At all times you will be in contact with the mother ship and other boats in the Flotilla via VHF station.
Route
Our routes are flexible and adapted to most flotilla participants. Depending on weather conditions, the route can be adjusted, most often sailing between the islands. Every morning at 9 a.m. we organize a skipper’s briefing where the sailing plan for that day is agreed upon.
Social life
At 4Me Sailing Flotilla you have the opportunity to meet other people with similar habits and interests through the activities we prepare for you. Already on the first evening at the Welcome drink party, you will make acquaintances that you will not forget, at joint dinners you can exchange experiences and exchange sailing experiences. Morning yoga and evening meditation under the guidance of our yoga instructor, daily activities such as interesting competitions on the water or at the beach, and interesting quizzes if the weather is bad, are part of our Flotilla. Depending on the weather conditions and the crew’s ability, we can organize a one-day navigation regatta.
4Me Sailing Flotilla starts on Saturday afternoon (check-in usually from 5pm) and ends the following Saturday morning. The obligation to return the boats is in every charter on Fridays by 5 pm, and we leave the boats on Saturdays at 9 am (check-out).
Participation for the Flotilla organization:
– For a boat with 2 and 3 cabins 300€
– For a boat with 4 and 5 cabins 400€
The participation price includes:
– Help with choosing boats
– Support during the check-in/check-out procedure
– Support when setting sail/arriving/anchoring and mooring
– Support in sailing and setting up the boat for sailing
– Solving minor problems on board
– Welcome drink the first evening
– Skipper briefings every morning
– Morning yoga/meditation
– Joint activities (regatta, fun activities)
